Club selection off the tee is the biggest factor here. To reach the flat area at the 150 yard marker is ideal. Tee shots landing approximately 180 – 200 yards from the green will likely roll down. Too much club from the tee can leave you with a severe hanging lie. The approach shot to this large green is approximately 15 yards less than your yardage indicates.
